Medica 2017 Contest - Rules
To celebrate our Partnership with Global Good, we have created this contest whose aim is to promote the New EasyScan_GO, world’s first artificially intelligent microscope to fight drug-resistant malaria.
Participation in the contest is limited to the Medica Exhibition 2017, Düsseldorf.
One Panthera U upright microscope, trinocular version.
MOTIC reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value in the event that the prize is unavailable. The prize will be sent to the address provided by the winner of the contest without charging any shipping costs.
4. Validity of the contest
The participation period will start on the 13th of November 2017 at 10:00 a.m. and will finish on the 16th of November 2017 at 11:59 a.m.
Participants must be of legal age (18 years old) and there are no residence restrictions. Motic and Global Good/IV employees or family members will not be able to participate in this contest. To accept the participation the following requirements must be met:
a) The parasite must be clearly circled in the flyer
b) The parasite must be identified correctly by marking which type of parasite it is (P. falciparum, P. malariae, P. ovale, P. vivax)
c) If available, the business card must be stacked to the flyer with all personal data (including: Mr/Mrs, complete Name, Company, Street, Postcode, city, Country, Phone and e-mail). In case the business card does not include all this data, the missing data must be stated in the form. In case of not stacking a business card, all the fields on the form must be filled in.
Motic ensures the correct treatment of the data according to Law 15/1999 on Protection of Personal Data (LOPD). If desired, you can exercise your right to consult, rectify or cancel your data by writing to MoticEurope, SLU, C. Les Corts 12, Polígon Industrial Les Corts, 08349 Cabrera de Mar (Barcelona).
A Malaria expert will review all participations, selecting the ones that have marked correctly the Malaria Parasite as well as ensuring it’s compliance with the contest’s regulations. The ones that don’t, shall be considered inadmissible.
Should there be more than one winner, a raffle will be done among them to decide who wins the prize.
In case no participant has marked correctly the Malaria Parasite, the prize will be declared null and void.
The verdict will be made public on the 17th of November.
The verdict will be published on www.easyscango.com as well as Motic Europe's website during November 2017, as well as being announced through our Social Media channels. Prize will be awarded throughout the month of December 2017.
The verdict will be communicated personally to the winners via e-mail and/or phone.
Participation in the contest implies the full acceptance of the clauses of the contest.
